• Led engineering and design, reporting to the CTO, through three tech leads and three designers. Owned technical direction and standardized on Next.js and AWS.
• Established a product-oriented process with metrics, market research, competitive benchmarks and clear ownership, to cut stakeholder rework and speed delivery.
• Aligned product, business and engineering on a premium investor chat with AI moderation, guardrails and specialist vendors. Campaigns for the associated nano-cap portfolio supported ARR gains of up to US$3M over subsequent months.
• Built agentic engineering workflows that remain in use: Git worktrees, evaluation loops, multi-model PR reviews and CI/CD quality checks.
• Trained 40+ engineers, helping establish the AI department’s engineering foundations, and redesigned technical hiring, personally leading final assessments for senior hires.
